Parkour in the Times

Recently, Reed Albers of the Fairfax Times wrote an article about parkour. The interview/photo shoot took place at Lanier Middle School in Fairfax where three local traceurs were able to express what parkour means to them. The traceurs included Elijah Miernik, Andy (Animus) Tran and Padge Mattaliano. They were able to talk about what parkour meant to them as individuals as well as to the community they are a part of. The article helped to shed some light on the possitive aspects of parkour rather than just what it appears to be from an outsiders point of view. Below are the images that appeared in the Fairfax Times. Click on either image and you will be redirected to the forum post with the full article.

There will also be in-ground pits installed in the near future which will be perfect for those that are working those big skills. If you have and questions please call the gym or stop by and check it out.
